The late Shri Mansukhlal H. Doshi was an industrialist and entrepreneur with great foresight, vision and ambition. He joined the family business of textile processing, but soon realized the fluctuations in the textile industry were too undependable.

After much research, his innovative business acumen prompted him to diversify from the family business into the steel forging industry, and he established Echjay Industries Pvt. Ltd. in 1960, in Mumbai, India.

Under his guidance, the business grew rapidly, and consequently, he further directed his family to expand in the Electronics business, over and above the textile processing house.

As Echjay Group forged ahead with leaps and bounds over the years, he foresaw the need for division of family wealth, and he preferred to branch out on his own by establishing Echjay Forgings Pvt. Ltd. in Kanjur Marg, Mumbai, and another major expansion at Khopoli named Pushpaman Forgings (A division of Echjay Forgings Pvt. Ltd.).

His hard work, foresight, sheer will and meticulous approach to the smallest detail are still the source of inspiration and the driving force behind our family.
